Mr Lawrence Khekhe, Social Entrepreneur (Ed.3)

June 29, 2020

The youth entrepreneur that I call “The Angel of Evaton”, Mr Lawrence Khekhe, is a gift to our country, South Africa, the continent of Africa, and the world at large. Growing up in the dusty streets of Evaton township, in the Vaal, Gauteng Province, South Africa, was not easy. He was surrounded by poverty all over and had to defy all the ills daily. The experience of calling a shack a home made him resolve to defeat poverty, not only for him but other children of South Africa. Today he is the graduate of Computer Science Diploma from Rosebank College. He is the founder and owner of three national organizations, namely, Lawrence Khekhe Educational Foundation, Eyethu National Computer College, and Bohlokwa Computer Solutions. His story is challenging those of us who are holding our arms and waiting for Government to provide. If you are not inspired by his story, you will never be inspired by any.
